Burst Flexi Hoses: Why They Fail and What’s the Solution?

Flexible hoses have been an innovation that has made life easier for plumbers, (and possibly cheaper for homeowners) but they have also become one of the biggest culprits of flooded houses caused by a plumbing system failure.

I'm not sure what the total cost of flexi hose failures has been to homeowners and the insurance industry, but seeing as I have personally replaced many burst flexi hoses over the years and have seen the major damage it has caused to homes, I'm guessing it is many billions of dollars worth of damage.
